These Terms and Conditions govern all online orders, purchases, and deliveries made through or with Mati Kala Kendra (“we”, “our”, “us”). By placing an order, the customer (“you”, “your”) agrees to the terms outlined below.

1.1. Items are handmade and can be customized based on the customer’s preferred design, size, pattern, color, or finish, subject to feasibility and acceptance by Mati Kala Kendra.
1.2. Orders will be processed only after final confirmation from the customer and acceptance from Mati Kala Kendra.
1.3. Once confirmed, customized orders cannot be modified or cancelled.

2.1. All orders must be paid 100% in advance before production or dispatch.
2.2. Payments can be made via approved online payment methods or bank transfer as communicated at the time of order.
2.3. No item will be shipped or delivered until full payment is received and verified.

3.1. Customers must provide complete delivery details, including:

• Full name
• Complete address with PIN code
•  Nearest landmark
•  Mobile number(s) for coordination
•  Google Map location for accuracy
   

3.2. Delivery will be initiated only after verification of the provided information.
3.3. Delivery charges are extra and will be informed based on location, parcel weight, and transort/courier service charges.
3.4. The estimated delivery time will be shared once the order is confirmed; however, delays may occur due to logistics, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

4.1. All products are carefully packed using safe packaging materials to minimize breakage during transit.
4.2. Once the product is delivered to the customer or the customer’s authorized representative, Mati Kala Kendra shall not be held responsible for any damage, breakage, or loss arising due to mishandling, improper storage, or negligence.
4.3. Customers are advised to handle clay and earthenware products gently, avoiding sudden temperature changes or impact.

5.1. As all items are handmade and often customized, orders once confirmed cannot be cancelled.
5.2. No refund will be processed after confirmation and production commencement.
5.3. In rare cases where Mati Kala Kendra is unable to fulfill the order due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued within 7–10 working days.

6.1. In case any item is found broken upon delivery due to courier mishandling, customers must report the issue within 24 hours of receipt, along with clear photos and videos of the packaging and damaged item.
6.2. Mati Kala Kendra will assist in raising the claim with the courier service, but the final decision and compensation will depend on the courier’s policy.
6.3. Replacement may be provided only at the sole discretion of Mati Kala Kendra.

7.1. All products are handcrafted; slight variations in color, texture, shape, or size are natural and not considered defects.
7.2. These variations reflect the uniqueness and authenticity of handmade pottery.

8.1. Deliveries are made through third-party courier or logistics partners, depending on service availability.
8.2. In certain rural or remote areas, customers may need to collect the parcel from the nearest courier office if home delivery is unavailable.

9.1. Mati Kala Kendra shall not be liable for any delay, loss, or damage caused by natural disasters, transportation delays, strikes, lockdowns, or any event beyond our control.
9.2. Under no circumstances shall our total liability exceed the invoice value of the concerned product.

By confirming the order and making payment, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all the above terms and conditions, including any future updates or modifications communicated by Mati Kala Kendra.
